Epoxy floors

Epoxy floors for garages, shops and commercial spaces

A bare concrete floor dusts, stains and chips. An epoxy coating turns it into a sealed, hard-wearing surface that wipes clean.

Epoxy stands up to vehicles, dropped tools, spills and the grit that gets tracked in all winter. We install epoxy floors across Bend and Central Oregon, for homeowners and for businesses.

Where it goes

The part you don't see is the part that matters

An epoxy floor fails from underneath, not on top. Coatings peel when they're put on concrete that wasn't prepared properly.

We grind the concrete first, which opens the surface so the epoxy bonds to it rather than sitting on it. That prep is what makes the floor last.

Cracks and chips are filled before anything goes down, so the coating sits on a sound surface.

Finishes

Flake, up close.
Flake
Coloured vinyl flakes broadcast into the base coat and sealed under a clear topcoat. The most popular garage finish, because it hides dust and wear and gives grip.
Metallic
Metallic pigments moved through the epoxy for a flowing, one-of-a-kind surface. Showrooms, entries, and garages that double as a workspace people see.
Solid colour
A plain, uniform surface, often used in shops.

Every finish gets a clear topcoat for wear and chemical resistance.

Common questions

How long does epoxy last on a garage floor?

With the concrete properly ground and prepared first, an epoxy floor should last many years under normal garage use. Prep is the difference between a floor that lasts and one that peels.

How long until I can park on it?

It depends on the coating and the temperature: epoxy cures more slowly in the cold. We'll tell you when you can walk on it and when you can park on it when we quote your floor.

Can you coat an older garage floor?

Yes. Older concrete usually needs more grinding and repair before coating, and that's included in the prep.

Do you do epoxy as well as hardwood?

Yes. High Desert Hardwood Flooring installs epoxy floor coatings for garages, shops and commercial spaces, as well as hardwood and luxury vinyl plank.
