Carpet to hardwood
Carpet to hardwood, matched to the floors you already have
Hardwood in the kitchen and hall, carpet in the living room or bedrooms, and you want it all to be one floor. We make it read as one continuous floor, not an addition.

We take out the carpet and put in hardwood that matches what's already there, so it reads as one continuous floor rather than an addition.
How we make it match
- Same species and width as your existing boards wherever they're available.
- Woven in at the doorways, not butted up against a strip, so there's no hard line where the old floor ends.
- Stain matched, or the whole run refinished together so everything ends up the same colour.
Common questions
Can new hardwood match my existing hardwood?
Yes. Matching is most of the job, and it's what our customers bring up in their reviews.
Do I need to refinish my existing floor too?
Sometimes refinishing the old and new floor together is the cleanest way to get one even colour. We'll tell you during the estimate whether your floor needs it.
