High Desert Hardwood Flooring LLC ("we") is a flooring contractor in Bend, Oregon. This page explains what we do with the information you give us.
What we collect
- When you ask for an estimate: your name, phone number, email address, the town the job is in, and anything you tell us about the job, including photos.
- Spam protection on the estimate form: the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a bot, is sending it. Nothing appears on screen; Turnstile looks at some information about your browser and device to make that check, as described in Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
- When you use the chat on this website: what you type, so the assistant can answer you. It's processed by our AI service provider to write the replies and isn't used to train their models. If you ask us to get in touch, the details you give (name, phone, town, and about the job) are sent to us by email (and by text, once that's set up). We don't keep a copy of the conversation; it stays in your browser for the visit.
- When we do work for you: the details needed to do the job and invoice it.
- On this website: basic visit statistics through Google Analytics, such as which pages are viewed and whether the phone number or estimate form is used. We don't use it to identify you.
How we use it
- to answer your enquiry, give you an estimate and do the work
- to invoice you and keep records we're required to keep
- to ask for a review after a job is complete, by email, and by text message if you've agreed to texts
- to contact you about your job
We don't use your details for anything else.
Text messages (SMS)
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we may text you about your estimate, your job, and, after the work is done, to ask for a review. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- To stop: reply STOP to any message. You'll get one confirmation and nothing more.
- For help: reply HELP, or call (541) 419-5158.
We never share or sell your phone number or your consent to receive texts with anyone else for their marketing. Your SMS opt-in is used only by High Desert Hardwood Flooring.
We may email you about your estimate or job, and after the job to ask for a review, with at most one reminder. Every review request has an unsubscribe link, and we'll stop after that.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that help us run the business: our accounting and invoicing software, the email and text-messaging services that deliver our messages, the AI service that powers the website chat, and the subcontractors working on your job, each only as far as needed. We don't sell personal information and never will.
How long we keep it
As long as we're working with you, and afterwards for as long as tax and contractor-licensing rules require us to keep job and invoice records.
Your choices
Ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Call (541) 419-5158 or email hdhfloors@gmail.com.
